New temple presidents

Min, Hyae-Kee, 66, Dongdaemun Ward, Seoul Korea Dongdaemun Stake, called as president of the Seoul Korea Temple, succeeding President Lee, Yong Hwan. President Min’s wife, Kim, Sung Sook, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Han, In Ja. He has served as an Area Seventy, president of the Korea Seoul West Mission, stake president, bishop, and regional representative. Retired area director for the Church Educational System in Korea, he was born in Kyungnam, Milyang, Korea, to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Min, Byeong-Pyo and Son, In-Gyu.

Sister Kim serves as a Relief Society teacher and as a temple ordinance worker. She served with her husband as he presided over the Korea Seoul West Mission. She has also served as stake and ward Relief Society president, stake Young Women president’s counselor, ward Young Women president, and as stake music chairman. She was born in Busan, Korea, to Gim, Hyeong-Gyeong and Bak, Bok-Hui.

Ranier Farrell Munns, 69, Narcoossee Ward, Orlando Florida Hunters Creek Stake, called as president of the Orlando Florida Temple, succeeding President Dennis M. Cox. President Munn’s wife, April Jo Cassell Munns, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Alice P. Cox. He serves as an institute teacher and a temple sealer. He has served as president of the Massachusetts Boston Mission, stake presidency counselor and bishop. Managing partner of Bogin, Munns & Munns, he was born in Logan, Utah, to Farrell Archie and Mary Burnice Munns.

Sister Munns serves as a Relief Society teacher. She served with her husband as he presided over the Massachusetts Boston Mission, and has also served as stake Relief Society president, stake Primary presidency counselor, stake activities committee member and Primary music leader. She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Donald Bern and Josephine Kathleen Cassell.

Raymond Wilfred Pollard, 73, Lake Orion Ward, Grand Blanc Michigan Stake, called as president of the Detroit Michigan Temple, succeeding President Steven A. Hedquist. President Pollard’s wife, Diane Lee Schindler Pollard, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Elizabeth G. Hedquist. He serves as first counselor in the Detroit Michigan Temple presidency. He has served as bishop, high councilor, stake clerk and high priests group assistant. Retired executive director of supplier development and strategic alliances for General Motors, he was born in Fresno, California, to Thomas Allen and Mary Viola Julia Roe Pollard.

Sister Pollard serves as an assistant to the matron at the Detroit Michigan Temple. She has served as stake and ward Relief Society president, stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president and seminary teacher. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Elmer Lee and Iola Edna Schindler.

Lindsay John Sanders, 66, Churchill Park Ward, Melbourne Australia Narre Warren Stake, called as president of the Melbourne Australia Temple, succeeding President David J. Hoare. President Sander’s wife, Helen Frances Brown Sanders, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Susan L. Hoare. He serves as a temple ordinance worker. He has served as stake president, bishop, mission presidency counselor, and high councilor. Retired director in the Church Educational System, he was born in North Adelaide, South Australia, to Arthur Henry and Nenia May Hill Sanders.

Sister Sanders serves as a Primary teacher. She has served as stake Primary presidency counselor, ward Primary president and ward Relief Society secretary. She was born in Loxton, South Australia, to Gordon Clarence Vivian and Irene Bernice Hartwig Brown.

Walter Carol Selden, 71, Solon Ward, Kirtland Ohio Stake, called as president of the Columbus Ohio Temple, succeeding President James J. Chrisman. President Selden’s wife, Susan Holt Selden, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Ruth Ann Chrisman. He serves as a gospel doctrine teacher. He has served as an Area Seventy, stake president, bishop, high councilor and BYU-Idaho Pathways missionary. General manager of Cleveland Tungsten, Inc., he was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Walter Carroll and Grace Winifred Johnson Selden.

Sister Selden serves as a ward organist and temple ordinance worker. She has served in stake and ward Relief Society presidencies, and as ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward organist and a BYU-Idaho Pathway missionary. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Albert Palmer and Dorothy Porter Holt.

Barry Alexander Spark, 73, Mandurah Ward, Perth Australia Rockingham Stake, called as president of the Perth Australia Temple, succeeding President David P. Meredith. President Spark’s wife, Dawn Maree Kay Spark, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Valerie I. Meredith. He serves as a high priests group leader. He has served in a stake presidency, and as a bishop, high councilor, ward mission leader, Young Men president and senior missionary couple. Retired licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, he was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to Alexander Murray Spark and Mary Winifred Johnston.

Sister Spark serves as a Relief Society visiting teaching district supervisor. She has served in a stake Relief Society presidency, and as ward Relief Society president, ward Primary president and senior missionary couple. She was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to Robert Charles Kay and Lorna Ilma Gilding.

Paul Bruce Young, 70, Burley 7th Ward, Burley Idaho West Stake, called as president of the Twin Falls Idaho Temple, succeeding President Brad R. Hobbs. President Young’s wife, Susan Gail Pearson Young, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Sandy K. Hobbs. He serves as a patriarch and temple sealer. He has served as first counselor in the Twin Falls Idaho Temple presidency, stake president, bishop and high councilor. Retired business manager of Intermountain Healthcare, he was born in Boise, Idaho, to Clyde Bruce and Dora Dean Young.

Sister Young serves as a ward Relief Society presidency counselor. She has served as an assistant to the matron at the Twin Falls Idaho Temple, in stake and ward Young Women and Primary presidencies, and as a temple ordinance worker. She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Melvin Eugene and Yvonne Mae Nystrom Pearson.
