New stakes
Four new stakes have been created.
A new stake has been created from the Guatemala City Mariscal Stake. The Guatemala City San Cristobal Stake, which consists of the Jerusalén Branch and the Balcones, Panorama, Peronia and San Cristóbal wards, was created by Elder Valeri V. Cordón, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Alejandro López, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Hong Kong China Kowloon and the Hong Kong China stakes. The Hong Kong China Kowloon East Stake, which consists of the Kowloon City, Kwun Tong, Po Lam, Tseung Kwan O and the Tsim Sha Tsui wards, was created by Elder Chi Hong Wong, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Benjamin Ming Tze Tai, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Hong Kong China Kowloon, Hong Kong China and Hong Kong China Tolo Harbour stakes. The Hong Kong China Lion Rock Stake, which consists of the Cheung Sha Wan, Ngau Tau Kok, Sham Shui Po, Shatin and Tai Wai wards, was created by Elder Randy Dennis Funk, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder Zeno Chow, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Ikot Akpaden Nigeria and the Eket Nigeria stakes. The Ikot Akpatek Nigeria Stake, which consists of the Okat Branch and the Ikot Akpatek, Ikot Anang, Ikot Ebidang, Ikwe, Okom and the Udo wards, was created by Elder Terence M. Vinson, a General Authority Seventy, and Elder J.K. Chukwuemeka Igwe, an Area Seventy.
