Face to Face event with two apostles scheduled for Nov. 19

In an effort to help strengthen the young single adults in the Church today, two apostles will participate in a live Face to Face event on Nov. 19 for the young single adults of the Church. Elder Dallin H. Oaks and Elder M. Russell Ballard, both of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, will answer questions from young single adults through a worldwide broadcast.

The event is meant to help this demographic build their faith in Christ, overcome challenges and develop confidence to make right decisions in life.

Elder Oaks and Elder Ballard are encouraging the young single adults in wards, stakes and institute classes around the world to gather and participate in this event (live where available or any time after the event).

In addition to participating in the event, the leaders have asked that each young single adult brings one friend — another member, a less-active member, or nonmember — to the event. Full-time missionaries are also invited to attend.

Where possible, priesthood leaders should coordinate with institute directors to encourage young single adults to view the broadcast at the institute building. Where there is not an institute building close by, priesthood leaders can arrange to show the event in a meetinghouse.

A broadcast schedule listing available languages and other details will be sent approximately four weeks before the event.

To ask a question prior to the event, young single adults can submit a question on YSAFace2Face.lds.org or by using the hashtag #LDSface2face on social media.
