Two temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been renovated and will be rededicated in May 2019.

According to Newsroom, both the Memphis Tennessee Temple and the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple will be rededicated this year. In April 2017, it was announced that the temples would be closed for renovation in order to maintain functionality, efficiency and beauty.

The Memphis Tennessee Temple rededication will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will preside at the dedication. Later that month, President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor in the First Presidency, will preside at the Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple rededication on Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Attendance for both temple rededications will be by invitation and no open house or youth devotionals are scheduled.
