During the Saturday afternoon session of the 189th Semiannual General Conference on Oct. 5, President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor in the First Presidency, announced that nine General Authority Seventies received emeritus status, including: Elder Wilford W. Andersen, Elder Kim B. Clark, Elder Lawrence E. Corbridge, Elder Claudio R.M. Costa, Elder Bradley D. Foster, Elder O. Vincent Haleck, Elder Donald L. Hallstrom, Elder Steven E. Snow and Elder Larry Y. Wilson.
