Donny Osmond, Nathan Pacheco and more artists to perform for President Nelson’s 95th birthday

To celebrate President Russell M. Nelson’s 95th birthday on Monday, Sept. 9, Latter-day Saint artists Donny Osmond, Nathan Pacheco, Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four, GENTRI and The Bonner Family will join the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in performing to honor President Nelson’s life of service, Newsroom reported.

The celebratory gala will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, at 8 p.m. MDT in the Conference Center at Temple Square. Former sportscaster and professional quarterback Elder S. Gifford Nielsen, a General Authority Seventy, and former television news anchor Ruth Todd will emcee the event.

The birthday celebration will include insights into President Nelson's life, ministry and service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Special videos presented that evening will focus on how he has been shaped into a special witness of Jesus Christ.

The program will be rebroadcast in seven languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Mandarin and ASL. Additional broadcast details are forthcoming.

Tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 9 a.m.
