A few years ago, the people of Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo suffered from a conflict between a traditional group of warriors and government forces. As Brother Honoré Mulumba and his family hid in their house, a group of the militia found them and told them to choose to adhere to their militia practices or be killed.

Though the militia promised to come back and kill them, the soldiers never did.
