Church President Russell M. Nelson announced a temple for “a major city yet to be determined in Russia” on April 1, 2018, during April 2018 general conference. It was one of seven temples announced at the conference.
The Russia Temple was announced by President Nelson on April 1, 2018. Details about the temple’s groundbreaking have not yet been released.
Architecture and Design of the Russia Temple
