The following new temple president and matron have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in September.

Fernando Enrique Calderón Gallegos and Adriana de la Dolorosa Recalde Cevallos de Calderón, La Paz Ward, Los Chillos Ecuador Stake, called as president and matron of the Guayaquil Ecuador Temple, succeeding President Hector A. Hernandez Malaver and Sister Alma C. Cristancho de Hernández. President Calderón is a temple sealer and a former Area Seventy, Bolivia Santa Cruz Mission president, stake president, high councilor and elders quorum president. A real estate CEO and owner, he was born in Quito Ecuador to Fernando Calderón Yánez and Ana Lucía Gallegos.
Sister Calderón is a Sunday School teacher and a former mission president companion, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president and ward Primary president. She was born in Quito, Ecuador, to Alfredo Recalde and Carmen María Cevallos.
