Eight new General Authority Seventies and a new member of the Presidency of the Seventy were among those announced among leadership changes of the Church during the April 2026 general conference.

Learn about the new leaders of 11 missions around the world, including the new Canada Toronto East, DR Congo Mwene-Ditu, Spain Madrid East and Zimbabwe Harare West missions. Most will begin their service in July.

Tukia-’I-Vava’U Havea and Linita Fekitoa Havea have been called to serve as president and matron of the Neiafu Tonga Temple by the First Presidency. They will begin their service when the temple is dedicated.

President Chibota, Sister Garfield and Sister Collins will begin their service on Aug. 1.

Elders Christensen, Gavarret, Hales, Jackson, Kopischke, Meurs and Palmer have a combined nearly 95 years of full-time service.
