Nearly 4,000 visitors gained new insights about themselves and their families by stopping at a FamilySearch booth at the international Frankfurt Book Fair held Oct. 18-22.
FamilySearch took part this year in Germany’s largest book fair for the first time, according to a news release from the Church’s Germany Newsroom.
“I have goosebumps,” one visitor said after learning about her family.
“You gave us the best experience of the book fair,” another visitor said.
More than 215,000 attended the book fair, including 4,000 companies and organizations from 95 countries.
During the book fair, FamilySearch representatives also met with media professionals, activists from religious communities and social initiatives, publishers and service companies. Slovenia was honored as this year’s guest country at the fair.
