During the 2023 Seminar for New Mission Leaders in June, numerous members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in Church News interviews — speaking about the influence of their missionary service.
“This fall, it will be 61 years since I got home,” Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said in June. “There may have been a day in these six decades that I haven’t thought about my mission. I just don’t know what day that would be.”
This video, titled “My Mission Influence,” also features Elder David A. Bednar, Elder Neil L. Andersen, Elder Gary E. Stevenson and Elder Dale G. Renlund — also all of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles — speaking about drawing closer to Jesus Christ as full-time missionaries.
“You are sustained, supported and strengthened by the living, resurrected Savior, by the power of the Holy Ghost,” said Elder Bednar. “It is the only way you can accomplish that work.”
