1. Children are natural givers

“It’s a beautiful thing that we are engaging children in this. They come to this world with giving hearts. They are natural givers, it is part of their nature. And to see that they can actually influence and affect the lives of other children, I think that’s precious.”

2. Jesus Christ is hope

“Jesus Christ is the ‘hope in thine end.’ Nothing we have, or have not done, is beyond the reach of His infinite and eternal sacrifice. He is the reason why it is never the end of our story.”
— “Abide the Day in Christ,” October 2023 general conference
3. Because of Jesus Christ
“Because of Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, if I died, my family would be comforted, strengthened and one day restored. If I lived, I would have access to the greatest power on this earth to help succor, sustain and heal me. In the end, because of Jesus Christ, everything can be OK.”

4. Much in common

“As sons and daughters of God, we have so much more in common than we could ever have that is different. I pray that we may seek to follow the counsel of our beloved prophet and interact with one another in higher and holier ways.”

5. Gathering and temple covenants

“Everyone can help to gather yourselves and others to Jesus Christ. As we gather to Jesus Christ, He leads us to the temple. It’s through temple covenants that we can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ as eternal families.”
— Ministry in Fiji, Sept. 8, 2023
6. Building valiant testimonies

“As missionaries strive to develop His Christlike attributes, I testify that they will have experiences with their Savior … that are so deeply profound and personal they will choose to be valiant in their testimonies all the days of their lives.”
— 2023 Seminar for New Mission Leaders, June 22, 2023
7. Strengthen the faith of the rising generation

“Together we have a sacred responsibility to strengthen the faith of the rising generation of the Church, to help them stay on the covenant path.”
— Ministry in Central America, June 4, 2023
8. Invite children to recognize the Holy Ghost

“When we know the Holy Ghost is present, it is important that we stop and invite (children) to share how they feel right now. It is not necessarily with tears [that the Holy Spirit manifests] but often through other feelings that are unique to them ... and they must learn to recognize it.”
— Ministry in Mexico, March 18, 2023
9. The Lord loves effort

“Accomplishing desired goals in life can be really hard. I know I struggle with that sometimes! But knowing that life is supposed to be hard and that there is divine help when we struggle makes life easier. I testify that the Lord loves effort, and like the Daruma doll, no matter how many times we falter, because of Jesus Christ we can always get back up, arise, and keep moving forward.”
