President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints visited the Chico California Stake to offer hope and words of comfort following the Camp Fire that struck Paradise, California, on Nov. 8, 2018.
The prophet's visit came just days after his daughter died from a courageous battle with cancer. Though grieving her loss, President Nelson said he desired to serve the people in California, saying "there's nothing we'd rather do than to try to be of help to others."
