These 3 couples are celebrating 70 years of marriage this year

Orwin H. and Velda L. Gubler were married 70 years ago on Jan. 20, 1949, in the St. George Utah Temple. They are members of the Green Valley 3rd Ward, St. George Utah Green Valley Stake. They are the parents of six children and have 21 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.

Maxwell "Max" Richards and Elsie Shortt Cannon were married 70 years ago on March 4, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are members of the Jamestown Branch, Provo Utah Edgemont Stake. They are the parents of 8 children and have 33 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Kay L. and Nyla C. Robinson were married 70 years ago on March 8, 1949, in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple. They are members of the Afton 1st Ward, Afton Wyoming Stake. They are the parents of four children and have eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
