About the Church News
The Church News began as a section of the Deseret News in 1931. Throughout the years, its journalists have sought to record the news and growth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the ministry of its leaders.
In April 2018, the Church News launched a redesigned print publication and a new website to document “A Living Record of the Restoration.”
Church News staff members, based in Salt Lake City, travel to locations throughout the world to report about the Church, its leaders and its global membership.
