The First Presidency has called new mission presidents and companions for 134 missions worldwide.
These couples will begin their three-year service in July. Their names and mission assignments are below. Five couples will be announced later.
The list includes assignments for the six new missions that begin this summer — five in Africa and one in Europe; with the additions, the Church will have 416 total missions.
The six are:
- Cote d’Ivoire Abidjan North Mission
- Democratic Republic of the Congo Kananga Mission
- Nigeria Aba Mission
- Nigeria Abuja Mission
- South Africa Pretoria Mission
- România Bucharest Mission
Two missions in Europe have also been renamed. They are:
- Adriatic South Mission to Albania Tirana Mission
- Bulgaria/Central Eurasian Mission to Bulgaria/Greece Mission
