Who is Jordin Sparks?

Sparks was 17 years old in 2007 when she became the youngest winner of American Idol.

She has since gone on to release multiple hit singles, selling more than 10 million digital tracks in the United States, and has starred in several Broadway and film productions. Her music can be found on all platforms and her music videos have registered millions of views on YouTube. She has performed with many popular artists, including Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, the Jonas Brothers and others, as well as headlined her own tours.

Sparks is the daughter of former NFL player Phillippi Sparks.

Sparks married Dana Isaiah Thomas in 2017 and the following year the couple welcomed a son into their family.

“Sparks has always been rooted in the love and loyalty of her family, something RootsTech viewers and attendees will understand better as she takes the stage to share the stories and songs that have shaped her life and family connections,” a FamilySearch newsroom release said.
