The second episode in the Book of Mormon video series was released to the public on Friday, Sept. 27.
This video, based on 1 Nephi 3-5, follows Nephi and his brothers as they return to Jerusalem to obtain the plates of brass from a wicked leader named Laban. Despite two unsuccessful attempts and being beaten by Laman and Lemuel, Nephi remains faithful and is able to secure the plates for his family by following the Spirit.

The scene from 1 Nephi 3:7, one of the most quoted verses in the Book of Mormon, is depicted in this video. In this scene, Nephi tells his father Lehi, "I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded."
Subsequent Book of Mormon videos will be released every Friday through the remainder of 2019. According to Newsroom, the release dates will be the following:
