Changes to the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced in April 2023 general conference are reflected in an updated chart of general authorities and general officers, available to view or download in English, Spanish or Portuguese below.
During the Saturday afternoon session of the 193rd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the First Presidency, presented the calls of five new General Authority Seventies, new Young Women general presidency and a new counselor in the Young Men general presidency.
The new Young Women leaders will begin their service on Aug. 1, and the changes in the Young Men presidency were effective immediately.

Young Women General President Bonnie H. Cordon and her counselors, Sister Michelle D. Craig and Sister Rebecca L. Craven, were sustained in April 2018, and their release was announced Saturday, April 1, with an acknowledgement of appreciation. They complete their service as the Young Women general presidency on July 31.
President Emily Belle Freeman has been called as the new Young Women general president, with Sister Tamara W. Runia as first counselor and Sister Andrea Muñoz Spannaus as second counselor.
Joining President Steven J. Lund in the Young Men general presidency are Brother Bradley R. Wilcox as first counselor and Brother Michael T. Nelson as second counselor.
During the Thursday, March 30, leadership session of April 2023 general conference, 61 new Area Seventies were announced and presented for a sustaining vote, with 50 Area Seventies identified for release on or before Aug. 1.
Also, three General Authority Seventies will receive emeritus status effective Aug. 1: Elder Benjamín De Hoyos, Elder Juan A. Uceda and Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita.
