Many young single adults in Utah are eagerly gearing up for the 2023 Utah Area Young Single Adult Conference.
Themed “Together in Christ,” the conference will be held throughout August, with activities each weekend for 18- to 31-year-olds. The event lineup includes a concert, a dance, a fun run and a devotional.
But Utah isn’t the only place hosting a young single adult conference. Here’s a look at four other conferences happening around the world.
July 28-30: Guam and Micronesia
The 2023 Young Single Adult Conference for Micronesia and Guam is July 28-30 in Guam, according to the event’s Facebook page.
Young single adults from Guam, Saipan, Palau, Kosrae, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Yap are invited to participate in the three-day conference themed “Stay on the Path.”
The event will include devotionals, classes, recreational activities and a visit to the Yigo Guam Temple.
Aug. 25-27: Korea
Korea’s youth conference takes place Aug. 25-27 at the Sangnok Resort in Cheonan, according to the Church’s Korea newsroom.
The conference’s theme is Alma 31:38: “And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea, and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ. Now this was according to the prayer of Alma; and this because he prayed in faith.”
Apply to participate through the conference’s website by Aug. 11.
August, September and November: Japan
Japan’s 2023 young single adult conference is being held in six sessions throughout the country, with dates in August, September and November, the event’s website shows.
- Tokyo 1 Session, Aug. 11-13 (registration has closed)
- Nagoya Session, Aug. 11-13
- Sapporo Session, Sept. 16-18
- Tokyo 2 Session, Nov. 3-5
- Kobe Session, Nov. 3-5
- Fukuoka Session, Nov. 3-5
Single adults ages 18-35, including those who are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are invited to participate.

Oct. 13-15: Washington, D.C.
The “Weekend in Washington” conference takes place in Washington, D.C.,Oct. 13-15.
Nearly 1,000 young adults will attend, according to the conference’s website.
The event, which takes its theme of peacemaking from Matthew 5:9, includes workshops, a tour of museums and major monuments, a gala at the Kennedy Center Nations Gallery and a visit to the Washington D.C. Temple.
Early bird registration is open July 15-23 and is $20. Standard registration takes place from July 24 to Aug. 15 and is $30, while late registration goes from Aug. 16 to Sept. 15 or until sold out and costs $40.
Oct. 27-29: Vancouver, British Columbia
Young single adults ages “18-30ish” are invited to a tristake conference in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada themed “Choose Him Again,” Oct. 27-29.
