What Churchwide broadcasts are happening in 2023?
The Church has released its 2023 schedule of Churchwide broadcasts and other recorded resources. The events will be published on Church digital channels “as resources to help bring individuals closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ,” stated a notice sent to local leaders on Nov. 22.
Many of these broadcasts are for specific audiences, although anyone is welcome to view them. “Use of these resources is up to local leaders; however, we encourage gathering together to watch and use as needed. This can supplement the activities and trainings units are already planning for 2023.”
Additional information about each broadcast — including how to watch and in what languages it will be available — will be published before each event on events.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and in an official letter sent via email.
2023 Churchwide Broadcasts List
Scheduled Churchwide broadcast events in 2023 are:
Jan. 8: Worldwide devotional for young adults
Jan. 29: Worldwide event for youth on 2023 youth theme
March 2–4: RootsTech family history conference
April 1–2: April 2023 general conference
April 7–8: The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square Easter concert
May 21: Worldwide devotional for young adults
Sept. 30–Oct. 1: October 2023 general conference
Oct. 22: Worldwide event for youth
Nov. 19: Worldwide devotional for young adults (rescheduled from September)
Dec. 3: First Presidency’s Christmas Devotional
These events will be noted in the ward and stake calendars at calendar.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and in the Member Tools app.
Additional recorded resources release dates
The 2023 event schedule on ChurchofJesusChrist.org also included a list of additional recorded resources that individuals, families and leaders may want to use throughout the year. They will be available on the dates noted. Some dates will be announced later.
