The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints expended $1.58 billion in 196 countries and territories in efforts to care for those in need in 2025.

“The Church’s cooperation with the community to help one another is an important mission to share the love of Jesus Christ,” said Elder Christopher H. Kim.

“It was surreal to see high schoolers giving up their time to help in such a charitable way,” said the seminary council president.

Bishop Sean Douglas of the Presiding Bishopric said these acts of service represent Jesus Christ’s example.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is collaborating with local organizations to identify urgent needs and support relief efforts. Members are working to help friends and neighbors.

Latter-day Saints in Arequipa are rallying together to clear mud, rebuild homes and gather donations after flooding and mudslides from torrential rains.

Donations from Church help health care providers to continue community outreach and be self-reliant.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is sending 250 semitrucks full of food to food banks across the country.
