Having someone other than a First Presidency member conduct conference sessions may not be the normal pattern, but it isn’t unheard of.

“Oneness with Christ and our Heavenly Father can be obtained through the Savior’s Atonement,” said Elder Quentin L. Cook.

With faith, “trials and sacrifices we would never choose can bless us and others in ways never imagined,” said Elder Gerrit W. Gong.

The “remarkable blessing” of inner spiritual stillness is available to all striving to keep covenants with the Lord, said Elder David A. Bednar.

President Jeffrey R. Holland has felt the power of prayer in the last 18 months since he last spoke in general conference.
