President Nelson announced the locations of 200 temples, more than any other Church president.

President Russell M. Nelson served as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for 34 years before becoming the 17th President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Six stake presidencies have been reorganized in Australia, Brazil, Nigeria and the U.S. in Oregon and Texas.

Nine stakes have been reorganized in Canada, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tonga, Russia, Samoa and Tahiti and in the U.S. states of Delaware, Colorado and Missouri.

Three stakes were created in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Philippines and Texas; 30 stakes were reorganized in 10 U.S. states and around the world in Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, DR Congo, Honduras, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Switzerland and Tahiti.

The Yaoundé Cameroon Stake was created; 16 stakes in Brazil, Cape Verde, Chile, El Salvador, Guatemala, Hawaii, Honduras, Kansas, Mexico, Nevada, Rhode Island, Utah and Virginia were reorganized.

A stake in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a Spanish-speaking stake in Utah have been created, and 25 stakes have been reorganized in Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Florida, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.

The First Presidency has called new presidents and companions to preside over the Philippines Cebu Mission and Europe Central Turkic and Persian-Speaking Mission. They will begin their service in July.

The First Presidency has called Ben MacKay and Jen MacKay to serve as leaders of the Chile Puerto Montt Mission. They will begin serving in July. Learn more about them here.

A new temple president and matron have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service when the Cleveland Ohio Temple is dedicated.

Stakes have been reorganized in Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Honduras, Liberia, Mexico, Philippines, Venezuela and in eight U.S. states: Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, Montana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah and Washington.

The Gboko Nigeria and Lehi Utah North YSA stakes were created, and 17 stakes in Argentina, Arizona, Brazil, California, Colombia, France, Guatemala, Mexico, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Utah and Washington were reorganized.

Seven stakes were created in Hawaii, Idaho, Liberia, Nigeria, Portugal, Tennessee and Utah, and 27 were reorganized in Brazil, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, Spain, Tonga and 11 U.S. states — Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington.

New stake presidencies have been called and sustained in eight countries — Australia, Brazil, Colombia, England, Ghana, Guatemala, Korea and Tonga — and eight U.S. states — Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

"Jesus Christ: A Celebration Through Art" commemorated the suffering, death and Resurrection of the Savior with life-sized art of Holy Week events, submissions from local artists and a concert.

Five new stakes were created in Brazil, DR Congo, Montana, Philippines and Virginia; 13 stakes were reorganized in Arizona, Brazil, California, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Utah and Wyoming.

Discipleship of Jesus Christ “is a path filled with deliberate and purposeful acts of love towards others,” said Elder Michael B. Strong.

“It might be said that the plan of salvation is a plan of happiness precisely because it is a ‘plan of mercy,’” said Elder James R. Rasband.

“I love the Savior, and my love for Him is my ‘why,’” said Elder Ricardo P. Giménez.
