Julio Cesar Jasso Zavala and Lourdes Gutierrez de Jasso have been called to serve as México México City West Mission president and companion by the First Presidency. They began their service in October.

President Wallis — injured in the early morning intrusion of the mission home — and Sister Wallis acknowledge having been "sustained with peace during this challenging time."

President Wallis was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound on Saturday, Aug. 16.

President R. Tyler Wallis has been serving the Mexico Mexico City West Mission with his wife since June.
