Emerson Manning is an intern for the Church News. She was born in Delaware and later moved to Utah with her family. She served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in both the California San Bernardino and Argentina Santa Fe missions from 2021 to 2023. She is currently pursuing a degree in journalism with a minor in Spanish at Brigham Young University. In her free time, she can be found reading, baking or watching movies.


“I now know I need not see the Savior with my eyes to know He is there, nor do I need to see Him walking alongside me to know He will be with me,” writes a cast member with the 2024 production of “Savior of the World.”

A recent donation by the Church in Latin America included medical equipment to an eye center in Paraguay, a hospital in Argentina and a health center in Guatemala.
