Makeilah Kahealani Law is an intern for Church News. She has previously interned at Deseret News, where she covered community and faith. She was born on the island of O‘ahu, Hawaii, and moved to Utah with her family when she was 12. Makeilah is a senior at Brigham Young University pursuing a degree in journalism.
