Makeilah Kahealani Law is an intern for Church News. She has previously interned at Deseret News, where she covered community and faith. She was born on the island of O‘ahu, Hawaii, and moved to Utah with her family when she was 12. Makeilah is a senior at Brigham Young University pursuing a degree in journalism. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with smoothie recipes, reading and going to the beach.


With a selection of song compositions, the Washington D.C. Temple Choir brought together 100 musicians to share testimonies of Easter through music.

“Remember, it is Jesus Christ who already did the superhuman part when He conquered death and sin,” wrote President Dieter F. Uchtdorf in a social post emphasizing the gift of the Savior’s Atonement.

Spanish lessons inspired by EnglishConnect helped Elder Areff Segovia strengthen a community’s language skills.
