In 2024, the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the site locations for 22 new temples and an updated site for a 23rd house of the Lord.
The 22 sites are located in 10 states in the United States — including two temples each in Utah and Washington — and 10 other countries, including two in Peru.
Also in the past year, a new, updated site was released for the Tampa Florida Temple.
Below are the temples with their respective site and the map released by the Church in 2024, in chronological order.
Cuernavaca Mexico Temple
According to site plans released by the Church on Jan. 16, the Cuernavaca Mexico Temple will be a single-story edifice of approximately 19,000 square feet. The building will stand on a 5.36-acre site at the corner of Calle Hernán Cortes and Calle Santa Prisca in Colonia Vista Hermosa, Cuernavaca, in the state of Morelos, south of Mexico City and in the south-central area of the country.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Cusco Peru Temple
The site plans released by the Church on Jan. 29 show the Cusco Peru Temple as a building of approximately 9,950 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 2.48-acre site at Avenida Arcopata 452 Cusco, Cusco, Peru.
Status: In planning and design.
Iquitos Peru Temple
According to site plans released on Jan. 29, the Iquitos Peru Temple will be a building of approximately 20,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 1.75-acre site at Calle San Marcos 117-137, San Juan Bautista, Maynas, Loreto, Peru.
Status: In planning and design.
Jacksonville Florida Temple
The site plans, released Feb. 20, show the Jacksonville Florida Temple being a single-story structure of approximately 29,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 6.6-acre parcel at 3323 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Vancouver Washington Temple
According to site plans released on Feb. 26, the Vancouver Washington Temple will be a multistory building of approximately 43,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 15.11-acre site at the northwest corner of the intersection of Southeast 20th Street and Southeast Bybee Road in Camas, Washington, just east of Vancouver proper.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Jakarta Indonesia Temple
As shown by site plans released on March 4, the Jakarta Indonesia Temple will be a four-story building of approximately 40,350 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 1.33-acre site at Synthesis Square, Jalan Gatot, Subroto No. 177a, Tebet District, City of South Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta.

Osaka Japan Temple
According to site plans released by the Church on March 4, the Osaka Japan Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 29,630 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 16.74-acre site at 3-50-1 Sugi, Hirakata City, Osaka, 573-0117 Japan.
Status: In planning and design.
Savaiʻi Samoa Temple
Site plans released on March 11 show the Savaiʻi Samoa Temple as a single-story building of approximately 29,630 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 5.5-acre site at Lot 1098 to Lot 1105 in Fataloa, a subarea of Salelologa village on the southeastern edge of the island of Savaiʻi.
Status: In planning and design.
Tacloban City Philippines Temple
According to site plans released on March 25, the Tacloban City Philippines Temple will be a two-story building of approximately 21,407 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 6.99-acre site along the Tacloban Bypass Road near the barangays (barrios) of Utap and Caibaan in Tacloban City.
Status: Scheduled for a Jan. 18, 2025, groundbreaking.
Kananga Democratic Republic of the Congo Temple
According to site plans released on April 15, the Kananga Democratic Republic of the Congo Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 11,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 1.6-acre site at Avenue Ilunga and N1 in Kananga, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Status: In planning and design.
Lehi Utah Temple
Site plans released by the Church on April 22 show the Lehi Utah Temple being a multistory building of approximately 85,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 22.48-acre site northwest of the intersection of 3950 North and North Center Street in Lehi. A meetinghouse is to be built on the site as well.
Status: In planning and design.
West Jordan Utah Temple
As shown by site plans released on April 22, the West Jordan Utah Temple will be a multistory building of approximately 85,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 16.1-acre site west of Utah State Highway 111 (also known as Bacchus Highway or 8400 West) at approximately 7147 South U-111. A meetinghouse will also be built on the grounds.

Des Moines Iowa Temple
According to site plans released by the Church on April 22, the Des Moines Iowa Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 18,850 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 19.576-acre site at 9050 NW 62nd Ave., Johnston, Iowa, in northwest metro Des Moines.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Cincinnati Ohio Temple
Site plans, released by the Church on April 29, show the Cincinnati Ohio Temple as a single-story building of approximately 29,630 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 35-acre site southwest of the intersection of Mason-Montgomery Road and Cedar Village Drive, Mason, Ohio.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Brussels Belgium Temple
According to site plans released by the Church on June 17, the Brussels Belgium Temple will be a multistory building of approximately 25,500 square feet. The edifice will be built within a previously existing building at Avenue des Arts 52 in Brussels, Belgium. A meetinghouse and arrival facilities for the temple will be within the building as well.

Springfield Missouri Temple
Site plans released on June 22 show the Springfield Missouri Temple as a single-story building of approximately 29,000 square feet. The edifice will be built on a portion of a 38-acre site located at 2720 East Farm Road No. 188, Springfield, Missouri.
Status: In planning and design, with an exterior rendering released.
Tulsa Oklahoma Temple
According to site plans released on Aug. 12, the Tulsa Oklahoma Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 29,600 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 25.7-acre site at the northwest corner of 51st Street and 136th East Avenue in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
Status: In planning and design.
Tacoma Washington Temple
As shown by site plans released on Sept. 16, the Tacoma Washington Temple will be a multistory structure of approximately 45,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on an 11.6-acre site at 1405 S. 364th Way, Federal Way, Washington. An accompanying utility building is planned for the site as well.

Colorado Springs Colorado Temple
According to site plans released on Nov. 4, the Colorado Springs Colorado Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 45,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 18.6-acre site on the south corner of Flying Horse Club Drive and Barossa Valley Road in north Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Status: In planning and design.
Missoula Montana Temple
Site plans that were released on Nov. 4 show the Missoula Montana Temple as being a single-story building of approximately 19,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 5.08-acre site at the corner of Old Bitterroot Road and Lower Miller Creek Road, Missoula, Montana. An ancillary building will also be built on the site.

Fairbanks Alaska Temple
According to site plans released on Nov. 25, the Fairbanks Alaska Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 10,000 square feet. The edifice will stand on a 7.59-acre site along Geist Road in Fairbanks, Alaska, on the south side of the road between Highway 3 and Thompson Drive. A nearby meetinghouse and ancillary building are also planned for the site.

Buenos Aires City Center Argentina Temple
According to site plans released on Dec. 6, the Buenos Aires Argentina City Center Temple will stand on a 1.56-acre site on the southwest corner of Avenida Córdoba and Calle Reconquista, in the San Nicolás district of central Buenos Aires, in the province of the same name.
Status: In planning and design.
Updated site: Tampa Florida Temple
The Tampa Florida Temple will be a single-story building of approximately 29,000 square feet, to be built on a 12-acre site at 9445 Camden Fields Parkway in Riverview, Florida. A new site announcement in April 2024 replaced a site previously announced in October 2022.
